How did you manage to cash in your credit card points? Mine just want me to cash the points in for objects they are trying to sell and then I would have to pay for S&H. Maybe it depends on the type of credit cards one has, huh? Anyway, I enjoyed reading what's going on. I'm still adjusting to this new way of life, too, and it's been a couple years widowhood for me. Loss takes time, a lot of time. With the holidays coming I've already started missing my Dad and it'll five years since he died. Mom was never the same, but Beth you've got friends, you're a great writer, and even greater inspiration, and damn if you're not afraid of living life. All of your life's experiences prepare you for what you must do and what you want to do. I have missed you and Hotclue, mostly you. Loss takes time, a lot of time. It is odd, getting used to it, isn't it. I'm not looking around for my husband so much now, but my mind's been on two things: Getting things done around here and finishing edits on my new book. P.S. I made a LOT of serious changes the first six months after husband died, some similar to yours, including selling our farm and moving back into the nearby city. In hindsight, I don’t regret any of those changes, either.
