OUR NOT SO HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

May 28, 2007.

More American Soldiers dead.

More flags draped over caskets we’re not supposed to see or know about.

More flowers laid on their graves.

More hearts and families broken beyond repair.

More excuses. More reasons why.

All unfathomable. All unbelievable.

I fully understand about the terrorists wanting to come here.

I also understand that they’re already here.

So why are we still THERE?

Just thought I’d ask. Seemed like a good day to ask it.
